Kitchen Flooring Installation in Pembroke Pines, FL

Flooring in a South Florida kitchen takes real wear — heat, humidity, spills, and traffic from outdoor living that most other climates don't see. We install tile, LVP, hardwood, and stone with proper substrate preparation, transitions, and expansion allowances for the climate.

Tile

Porcelain and ceramic tile are the most durable options for Florida kitchens. Large-format tile (24x24 and larger) has become common in newer homes and high-rise condos. Installation requires a flat, solid substrate and correct mortar selection for the tile size and weight. We've installed large-format tile in buildings with strict weight requirements and in homes with older subfloors that needed leveling first.

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP)

LVP has become a go-to option for kitchens that connect to living areas where a single floor material reads better. It's waterproof, durable, and installs over most existing floors. We pay attention to the transition between the kitchen and adjacent rooms — getting that detail right is what makes the floor look intentional.

Hardwood and engineered hardwood

Solid hardwood in a Florida kitchen requires real consideration of the HVAC situation and humidity management. Engineered hardwood is more stable and a better fit for most Florida homes. We'll be direct about which option makes sense for your specific situation rather than defaulting to whatever the client asks for.

Frequently asked questions

Can you install over existing tile?
Sometimes. It depends on the condition of the existing tile and the height differential it creates at transitions and doorways. We assess on-site.
How long does flooring installation take?
A standard kitchen floor runs one to three days depending on material and substrate prep required.
Do you remove the existing floor?
Yes. Demolition and disposal of existing flooring is included in the scope.
